Bohemian glass is planned to be produced in Kuban

The issues of arranging the manufacture of Czech glass were worked out following the visit of the regional delegation led by Veniamin Kondratyev to the Czech Republic in 2019.

The Vice-Governor, Aleksander Ruppel, discussed the details of the project with the management of Crystalex.

The Czech company for decorating Czech glass and porcelain has been operating in the Tikhoretsk District since 2013. In 2019, after negotiations with the Governor, the management of the company decided to expand its representation in Kuban – not only to decorate but also to manufacture glass, the press service of the Administration of the Krasnodar Region reports.

Janusz Tomasz, the CEO of Crystalex, said that he intends to invest about 2 billion rubles in the creation of a closed production cycle.

The Krasnodar Region is ready to apply to the Federal Industry Fund for a soft loan for the project. At the regional level, investors implementing projects worth more than 500 million rubles can take advantage of a preferential rate on corporate property tax – it is 0.1% for 5 years.

Within the regional state program, the company can also count on compensation for 10% of the costs of the project. The project is provided with a land plot – a site has already been selected in the Tikhoretsk District.

Following the meeting, the Vice Governor instructed the Industrial Policy Department, together with the Investment and SME Development Department, to draw up a roadmap for the project.
