Corn exports from Krasnodar Territory doubled in 2023

In 2023, corn exports from Krasnodar Territory reached 2 million tons, surpassing the 2022 export of 900 thousand tons, which was less than half of the 2023 amount. The crop was supplied for food purposes to 15 countries.

The top five largest corn importing countries were Turkey, Libya, Vietnam, South Korea and Lebanon. The majority of the corn, 76%, was shipped to Turkey. Moreover, in 2023, almost 50,000 tons of corn bran and almost 40,000 tons of corn bard were exported from Krasnodar Territory to Turkey. Furthermore, 5.6 tons of corn grits were exported to Canada, Israel, Georgia, and Armenia.
